Overview
The Seiko GPS Astron SSE022 (8X82-0AF0) is a 45mm men's solar watch with a titanium case and a black analog dial protected by sapphire crystal. It uses a 8X82 caliber quartz movement. The case of the SSE022 measures approximately 45mm wide (not including the crown) by 13mm thick and is water resistant to 100 meters. This should be sufficient for splashes, rain, baths, showers & swimming (shallow diving) but is not recommended for scuba diving. The crown screws down to help prevent it from being accidentally pulled out while under water. The titanium bezel shows a tachymeter and is fixed (cannot be rotated). The gap between the lugs is 22mm and the rubber band can be removed using a band removal tool to be replaced with another band.

- Date window to show the day of the month. Note that some watches may be damaged if you attempt to change the date between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM, in which case you should change the time to be outside that range first then reset the time after adjusting the date. Check your watch manual for details.
- Perpetual calendar to correctly update the date based on the month and whether it is a leap year. Watches without a perpetual calendar must have their date adjusted after months with fewer than 31 days.
