Overview

The case of the SSC017 measures approximately 43mm wide (not including the crown) by 14mm thick and is water resistant to 200 meters. This should be sufficient for splashes, rain, baths, showers, swimming and even scuba diving. The crown screws down to help prevent it from being accidentally pulled out while under water. The stainless steel bezel shows minute numbering and can be rotated. The gap between the lugs is 20mm and the bracelet band can be adjusted to fit using a link removal tool or removed using a band removal tool to be replaced with another band.

- Chronograph that includes a subdial for minutes with a minimum resolution of 1/5 second and a maximum duration of 60 minutes. The central second hand is used by the chronograph. When the chronograph is not in use this hand is stationary. Seconds are shown on the seconds subdial.
- Date window to show the day of the month. Note that some watches may be damaged if you attempt to change the date between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM, in which case you should change the time to be outside that range first then reset the time after adjusting the date. Check your watch manual for details.
